The inspiration for the design of the website comes primarily from Hemingway Reloaded, which is based on Kyle Neath’s original Hemingway theme for WordPress.

Veerle’s Blog is also a huge inspiration, and I have to thank her for her nicely-organized CSS document; I learned quite a bit from her styling.

I’ve used WordPress for the backend and dynamicness, with a slew of plugins created by the amazing WordPress community. Thanks to these plugins:

PHP and MySQL are two open-source (and free) tools that power a huge part of the web, this site included. Thanks to HostingRails.com for a great hosting experience (with extensive Ruby on Rails support).

I use the amazing Mac freeware Taco HTML Edit, TextWrangler and, if I ever find myself on a Windows PC, Intype for all my text editing needs.
