Michael Crichton’s ‘Prey’: A Reviewette

I just finished reading Michael Crichton’s 2002 technothriller Prey and loved it so much I wrote a quick review. Unlike 2006’s Next (about commericalized genetics), which I couldn’t bother finishing, Prey is up there with 2004’s State of Fear (about …

Avantasians: Avantasia hymns live!

Getting to hear Avantasia live is one of those silly dreams that you somehow get obsessed with. Of course, getting the whole team up on a single stage to perform those epic songs might just be, well… chaotic. The next best alternative (and a quite good one at that) is listening to Tobi performing ‘Avantasia’ (forgetting the words) or ‘Sign of the Cross’ live with Edguy or Shaaman on …

Lyrics to Iron Savior’s ‘Megatropolis’ up!

For anyone looking for the words to Iron Savior’s 2007 studio release Megatropolis, you can find them at DarkLyrics. You may recall that I’d posted the words to two songs Iron Savior let loose pre-release — Flesh and Megatropolis — on this website some time back.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End

Got back from the premier show of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End yesterday, and this is the review I wrote for IMDb:

Epic. And alien enough so you can actually relate to it. Captain Jack Sparrow and his friends (loosely speaking) come together to each further his/her/its own dark interests and, in that grand collusion and endless confusion - complete with a few broken hearts (very loosely speaking), shattered ribs perhaps …

Lyrics to “Megatropolis” and “Flesh”

Iron Savior posted two songs off their upcoming album Megatropolis (scheduled for a June 4 release) on their Official MySpace errr… space: “Flesh” and the title track “Megatropolis”.

I couldn’t find the lyrics so here’s whatever I’ve been able to make out listening to these awesome tracks. “Megatropolis” first, because wow, you can’t not be blown away by the song:

Megatropolis
(Iron Savior - Megatropolis, 2007)

Right here, right now I’m looking back
To the road …

Looking forward to Megatropolis

Iron Savior will release their next album Megatropolis, successor to 2004’s Battering Ram, later this year. Until then, though, we’ll just have to wait it out.

Or will we?

Thanks to Harald, webmaster of the Iron Savior website, we’re getting studio updates in text and video so we know exactly what’s happening in the Savior camp. That’s right - video! You’ll find all …

Turning Piracy Around

The music industry is in a fix and, in an ironic twist of fate, is victim to the very people they serve. The problem obviously is piracy — musicians work half their waking life creating music, and people go and download their songs off some website, forcing the very folks who make us smile and hum along to their tunes to struggle to even just support themselves. It’s unfortunate, so we acknowledge the need to …

Threads of Time

A new, experimental song!

Here’s a teaser:
“And although I’ve seen the truth, I’m falling out and I am falling through. There is no place I haven’t seen, no person that I’ve never been”.

Foreword

Hi, I'm Parimal Satyal and Reality Equation of Infinite Variables is my journal about the exciting nothingness of everything.
