Cultural Center: 20th Anniversary
The Lebrón-Wiggins-Pran Cultural Center was set up in 1989 at Hampshire College to support under-represented and minority students.
The Center approached me to design an identity for their 20th anniversary celebrations. The new brand would be displayed prominently as buttons, posters and stickers.
What's Shakin' in Dakin'
A weekly events listing for Dakin House at Hampshire College, printed every day on Mondays and put in every bathroom stall.
The publication is printed in monochrome black-and-white, and only uses variations of the Helvetica Neue typeface.
Design inspired by the work of Josef Müller-Brockman.
La Table Française
I designed this poster for a French table (La Table Française) I organized to have French speakers on campus come together and have a place to practice the language.
Printing/budget restrictions meant I could only print in black and white.
Note: I didn't do the illustrations, MisterSize did.
Evolving Hampshire
Hampshire Professor Charles Ross came up for an interesting social experiment to celebrate Darwin's 200th birthday.
I designed the official Evolving Hampshire website and integrated it with the WordPress publishing engine.
Science & Religion at Hampshire College
The Science and Religion department at Hampshire runs a continuing lecture series, with information about upcoming lectures, archives of past lectures (including video), and biographies of lecturers.
I designed and built a customized dynamic website in PHP), which I maintained for a year as a work-study job in my first year of college.
Science & Religion - Portal
After having designed several different websites for the Science and Religion departments, and to consolidate information, I was asked to design a portal that would allow visitors to easily access the specific site they were looking for.
I based my design on the theme of 'neurons' and interconnected nodes, and created a smooth animation-enabled pure-CSS portal.
